Who are we?
The Markets Technology Tribe is responsible for the development, maintenance and operation of all technology solutions and the end-to-end digital strategy supporting Komerční Banka’s (KB) markets activities and investment banking services. We are also responsible for all regulatory reporting related to market activities and the implementation of all tools and technical processes to ensure KB meets all its regulatory requirements (both on a national and international level).
We are a friendly team of product owners, business analysts, developers and testers and are currently searching for a new colleague to join our Capital Markets squad (team).
The Capital Markets squad looks after the applications and services related to trading in securities (primarily stocks, bonds, treasury bills and mutual funds).
Your responsibilities:
- Work closely with business stakeholders (trading, middle office, back office, custody, depository, and accounting) to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges
- Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business requirements
- Participate in system and user acceptance testing and validation of implemented solutions
- Support users with daily queries and challenges
- You will also work closely with our Markets Regulation squad to assess and analyze the impacts of capital markets regulations on current capital markets technology solutions and processes
Who we are looking for:
- Degree in a technical or business/finance related discipline
- Fluent Czech and strong communication skills in English (at least B1 level)
- Previous experience or knowledge related to investment products and securities
- Strong communication skills and high-level of autonomy
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Good knowledge of usual IT tools (MS office), particularly with Excel (VBA skills preferred, but not required)
